2. Before you order:
Make sure you are ordering the right battery. Refer to the owners manual to find the exact specifications of the battery you need. You need to make sure the voltage (V), Capacity (Ah), length, width and height matches. We provide these details for each of the batteries we listed in our battery listing. Some systems may require more than one battery to operate. Find out how many batteries you need. Customer is responsible for any additional shipping expenses involved due to wrong product ordering.
It is recommended that you replace the entire battery string at once to get better life out of the new batteries. Replacing one bad batteries out of several batteries in the string may reduce the life of the new battery significantly.
3. Ordering the batteries:
Make sure you order the right battery. Check the Voltage, Capacity, length and width and height of the battery matches with the existing battery in your system. After your order is accepted you will receive an invoice with the order number. We recommend that you print and save this invoice in your files. We need the order information for any warranty claims that may arise with in one year.
4. Ordering System
Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.
We guarantee that every transaction you make at Battery Consulting will be 100% safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shopping at Battery Consulting.
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, Battery Consulting will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. Battery Consulting will only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at Battery Consulting while using the secure server.
In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
To process your order, we need specific information such as name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date, and shipping preference. Battery Consulting does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone else. Customer information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without the consent of the customer, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested by the customer.
Private Customer information (credit cards, S.S. Numbers, financials, etc.) will not be kept on file for more than 60 days.
Customer will not receive any continual email solicitation from the company, unless the customer consents to the solicitation at checkout, or through a double opt-in process. And, if the customer does consent to receive email from the company, the company agrees to have a simple unsubscribe option available, along with unsubscribe instructions in every email
We may use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to the Web site, Battery Consulting services, and special offers we think you'll find valuable.
Orders are normally shipped within one working day. You will be normally notified with the tracking number when the order is shipped.
7. Accepting Shipment
Accept the shipment only if it is delivered in good condition. If there is any visual damages on the boxes or if there is any obvious damage to the product do not accept the package and reject the shipment.
8. Removing the used battery
Batteries can discharge large amount of current, and must be handled properly. Improper handling may result in damage to the equipment and or cause injury to person removing the battery. Please refer to the users manual supplied with your equipment. Some equipment with several batteries may come with additional connectors between the batteries. Save those connectors for using with new replacement batteries. We do not supply additional connectors with replacement batteries.
9. Disposing used batteries:
All used batteries have to be disposed properly as per the local codes. SLA batteries are fully recyclable and we recommend that you do so. We do offer free recycling service to our customers. Customers can ship the spent rechargeable lead acid batteries to us for proper disposal. The spent batteries can be sent to Recycling Department, Order No: XXXX, 4020 Christopher Way, Plano TX 75024. Shipping charges are responsibility of the customers.
10. Installing new batteries:
Batteries can deliver large current when the terminals are short by a conductor. This can result in damages to the equipment and can cause injury to the person handling the batteries.
11. Return Policy:
If purchases from Battery Consulting must to be returned, they shold be shipped back to us in sturdy packaging and in resalable condition. All returns must have an RMA number on them, and must be returned within 15 days from the date of issued RMA. On orders you place incorrectly, we charge a 20% restocking fee and do not refund shipping charges. A delay in credit may result if the RMA does not meet these requirements.
To return a product, please follow the steps below:
- Complete a Return Material Authorization within 15 days of the original shipping date.
- Instructions for returning the batteries will be e-mailed to you.
- All orders returned must have an RMA number to receive credit.
- Clearly print RMA number on the package.
- All RMA packages should be returned to the address.
Credit will be issued after our returns department receives and processes your return. Allow at least 2 days from the date of your return for your credit to be issued. Credit may take up to 2 billing cycles to be reflected on your statement. If the batteries are damaged in shipment, we will ship you another battery. What is done with the damaged battery will depend upon the shipping method used.
All the batteries come with one year full warranty from the date of shipment. Batteries charged improperly or damage caused under abusive conditions are not covered under warranty. Also batteries have to be charged at least once in two months and the batteries have to be kept within 77 F.
